Griot’s Eye Youth Film & Culture Festival
The Griot’s Eye Youth Film & Culture Festival is a showcase of youth films and performances representing various traditions within the African Diaspora. Partnering with leading arts and cultural organizations in Baltimore city, this year’s festival will feature:

- – African Drum and Dance
- – Spoken Word and Hip Hop Performances
- – Musical and Cultural Performances
- – African Marketplace
- – Keynote Speaker
This is not your average Black History Month celebration! Join us for a lively, inspiring, and innovative youth-led program that will have you jumping out your seat in excitement! Help us pack the Reginald F. Lewis Museum with African culture and spread the word!!!
We are seeking film submissions from youth filmmakers under the age of 21 city to feature at the Festival. Submissions should be 10 – 15 mins maximum and produced by student filmmakers. We are especially seeking content that portrays unique stories of the African American community. Filmmakers will be recognized and will entertain questions and comments from the audience following the screenings.
